Popped in last night and had a very nice pint of Taylors Landlord. A bit more of a selection of ales available than in recent times- which the new manager seems to be keeping nicely

I think that the staff and the relief manager have been waiting that long for the appointment of a permanent manager that they have become disaffected with the pub. The beer should be a lot better than it has been lately.

The Com tries hard enough; sadly, what real ale you can find here is all too frequently lacklustre or undrinkable. I don't know how, but different real ales from one week to another can taste identical ! Unfortunately, real ale has a habit of running out on a Saturday night.
